Our Mother's Day morning began with a trip to Joe's Farm Grill in Mesa. This is a favorite with the locals and has been featured on "Drive-Ins, Diners and Dives" on the Food Network. The restaurant building is the original farm house where Joe grew up. They have both inside and outside seating, we chose an outside picknic table. The menu items are all fresh and mostly organic, a healthy alternative to yesterdays trip to the Heart Attack Grill.
While waiting for our breakfast, Maddie served up a fresh grapefruit.
Breakfast is served, Bev & Rick had a waffle paired with a rack of pork ribs, Krissy and the kids ordered one of the many creative egg scramble combinations on the breakfast menu. After breakfast activities included shopping at a new Super Target, visiting a waterslide park and enjoying dinner at Toby Kieth's new restaurant. It was a fast fun filled weekend.
