Last sunday we moved from Casa Grande to Apache Junction, we will be here 2 weeks to see the sights and visit Terry & Evelyn. So today we paid a visit to Goldfield, a boomtown in the 1890,s with 50 working mines in the district. Bev checked out an old house which sat on a bluff overlooking the town. I was interested in an old locomotive which moved the ore cars from the mine to the smelter, the mountains in the background are the Superstitions.
