We were really lucky on the way down to Avi, Nevada. We traveled in between snow storms all the way and the roads were bare and dry. Lots of snow on the side of the road. The car, motorcycle and motorhome are on big mud ball. We went into town and found a car wash, so the car is nice and clean. The weather is sunny and in the 60's and feels so good. One thing I had forgotten about was the beautiful sound a grackle (a southwest bird) makes. Mom will appreciate this Skip headed for the casino this morning and found a Texas Tea machine to play and he played with $5 and came home with $20, so I am sure we will be going back.

Glad to know you have arrived safe! I love your blog page, it is great. This is a wonderful way to keep in touch with you both. We miss Skip (already) at the office. It is very cold and snowy here. You left at a good time. The Oasis Park is very bare. I think only 6 trailers left (including me). I moved over to your spot. It is much better! Water is still frozen, but I now have better cable connection so I can see my TV. Hopefully it will warm up soon. Take care and travel Safe! Best regards, Katie
